EYE-Fi Cards to iPad

Hi all.
Hope everyones having a good day. Forgive me if this topic has popped up before.
Im wondering about peoples opinions on the EYE-Fi cards and using them as an instant feed to an iPad to get a better feedback than the 3" LCD on the back of my 60D
Have people had any problems with speed transfer of files or wireless network issues?
Has anyone used multiple EYE-Fi's at once?.
Hope to hear some advice on this.

I use that setup with my iPD3 and 5D3 it great. Changed the way I shoot actually. Takes a couple of seconds to show up. I use ShutterSnitch for display on the iPad.

Yep, have it but with a 5D3 as well which I shoot high res to the eye fi and raw to the CF. High res means faster transfer to the ipad.

I suggest going with Shuttersnitch as well as the eye fi app is a bit unreliable.

This is how I do it also with the 1D MkIII except I just send a lower res to the ipad.

I've got the 5dmkiii as well and am looking at going with the eye fi card for use with an ipad2...

Is the shuttersnitch easier to set up than the eye fi app? I'm really computer challenged and the eye fi rep said theirs was free and had phone support although he did say shuttersnitch was very popular. He went on to say I could always switch over once I mastered their app.

Would this card work in a CF adapter with a 5D? Is there anyway to just view the files on the iPad and not have to transfer JPEGS constantly and then delete them after.

Yes, definitely start with the free version - it works fine. You can always add ShutterSnitch whenever you want.

Yes, but some adapters are shielded more, so severely cut down on the range. I used one in the past with a 5d2 but it was not nearly useable as it is straight up on a 5D3.
