this was posted on MoviePhotoForums.Com:

Lillian Ford (Diamond Lil)
I was invited to join this forum about a year ago by Lillian, but have not been very active. I've seen nothing else about this on this forum, so I will post this.

Lillian died last night of a heart attack. I know little else about the circumstances at this time.

Lillian was a friend and professional colleague of mine.

Sincerely,

I am shocked too. I always found Lillian to be personable, friendly, and she just sounded like a real nice person. My condolences to her family if they ever see this.

Oh boy, please please tell me this is wrong!!!! I loved her work, she was a great member who will be very sadly missed! Condolences to her friends and family, she was one of a kind who was not afraid to join in and be part of this community, in fact this community will be worse off for her passing. She will be missed, but always remembered.

No! That's terrible news! :( I didn't know her outside of these forums, but she has been a key member in here for feedback, wonderful images and just, general companionship, as it is "online".

Her presence and work will be sorely missed :'( My condolences to any friends/family that may come across this!

Oh my goodness what terrible news. I loved having her here. Always a thoughtful comment for everybody's work in between the great birding shots she shared with us.

We'll all miss you Diamond Lil.

Thank you for sharing the unfortunate news, Mike. Sorry you lost a both a friend and colleague.

Wow that's awful. Condolences to her family and loved ones. She lives somewhat near to me and gave me several good tips for visiting the Montezuma Wildlife refuge. Just goes to show you that any day can be the last so take advantage of ones you have!

So sad, my condolences to her family and friends. Many times she was the only one to post on so many threads and offer a bit of advice or a good work. I loved viewing all of her photos also

That is so sad. I never met Lil but we exchanged replies many times on this forum. Lil always had something kind and constructive to say and was a really good photographer too who clearly enjoyed being on here. I'll miss her. My thoughts and respects to her family.
