I sold my 50-250 to get this lens, but if you're f/4 L is collecting dust I'll help taking it out for some walks from time to time.

Here a shot just hand holding it eventhough I don't have very steady hands.
1/320sec, ISO 400, f/9.0, f-lenght at 300mm.

Thank you very much. I love the lens, just don't usually have a lot situations that call for using it. As long as there's enough light and you can stop down a little, it seems to be pretty sharp.

Here's another that I forgot to upload earlier. It's not quite as sharp as the other two, but I like it as well.

I dug this lens out the other day while on a fashion/model shoot and decided to take a few (see others on my flickr page if you want)...while it doesn't beat my 100mm F/2.0 or my 200mm F/2.8...you can see, it is still sharp and can get a great shot. Nice bang for the buck for a telephoto
