Absolutely beautiful, if it would have been me in that pic I would have ordered prints:cool:

One day I was walking on the street and somebody handed me a camera. I looked at them and said, "This is not a Canon, what do I look like? A charity case?" So I took it, and THREW IT ON THE GROUND!

That's neat Mike. Sometimes that's what a day out is for, the numbers in the take home bag don't matter at all. :)

Lower Laguna Madre Fly Fishing

It was a good week. We stayed on South Padre Island in a house with a view.

A veteran guide poled us around in the skinny waters of the Laguna Madre.

We caught lots of fish.

We released all the fish, but the memories and the images were all keepers.

Mike,

Any relation to Gary Borger? I credit his videos for much of my FF skills, back in the 80s.

could be some where down the line, but not that I know. when I first got into fly fishing a bit over a year ago, I came across his videos, was kinda cool seeing a Borger with fame. haha.

There were some great shots taken on the water. I am a fly fisherman and do to a unique schedule, I fish alone most of the time. I am always so hesitant of taking my good glass. I think I will next time!

I keep my camera in a waterproof dry bag while in the boat or in my backpack. Then I get it out to take pics whenever it's safe to do so.
