You are doing fine. Its a good lens on a crop, but the ultrawide use on FF makes it sing. They are practically giving 5D's away these days.

I went to Yosemite for the first time and did a long hike. I should have left the tele and 50mm at home to lighten my load and save backpack space...I only used this lens :p.

But if there had been a bear fishing up the stream there, you would have been very glad to have the tele...

Did you see any wildlife worth chasing with a long lens?

Oh, and nice shot. I love water and rocks...

What's the railing used for on the left side? What is it keeping the general public away from? The evil dangerous water?

^ Nice. You don't usually think of this lens as an awesome portrait lens, but there it is.

The photographer is standing on a bridge crossing this river. The bridge is directly over the fall. Its pretty cool. Ive backpacked up to half dome twice and crossed this spot. The river flows strong, so they need to put up a fence to keep people from trying to take their boots off to cool off their feet cause if they get too far in, under the bridge is a very long drop down!
