Yes, Mine as well. :-(

It showed they had them in stock last night when I ordered it. But I got a call this morning they had sold out when I put my order in. And so, mine is on back-order status.

Really? That odd that you ordered last night and got a call today that its back ordered. I didn't order until this morning, after 10 eastern time.....I called and talked to two different people, who verified stock and return terms, then I ordered online and got a call to verify the account was told it will ship today. It now says "in the warehouse".

Ken Rockwell review:

Actually not that bad of a review... To be honest. Some good info in there (esp about using thicker framed CPL filters for example).

I still crossing my fingers that I get some tracking numbers soon! For the 24-70 II and the stuff from CPS... I have a bad feeling I may get one or the other :p I would love to have it all for my trip to Pittsburgh. As long as I have everything by 3pm or so, I can get some quick full resolution stuff up others to peep at. Any later, I would have stuff Monday night to post up!

I have a co-worker who received the lens yesterday. So I got a chance to use it for about 15mins this afternoon. Didn't get to view any of the shots on a full-size screen, but things looked good at 100% zoom on the LCD. Sharpness looked great across the entire frame. The one thing that sort of surprised me was the accuracy of the AF. Every single shot was spot on from what I could tell. Of course the 5D3 could have had something to do with this, but I expected to miss focus at least once out of the 30 or so pics that I snapped...but not the case.

Also really liked the weight of the lens. Using it on the 5D3 makes the entire camera/lens feel as a single unit, rather than feeling like a camera with a separate lens hanging off the end (if that makes any sense).

FOR SALE: Like New 5D3 with VERY LOW shutter count $825 and free shipping

This is what I'm really looking forward to. Maybe at a couple different apertures (like 2.8 and 4) and at both 24 and 70mm, and perhaps a subject/scene that can show edge sharpness? Maybe? lol :D

Just got mine yesterday. So far, compared to version 1,the version 2 is sharper, especially at F2.8 and 70mm FL.The version 1 has better build quality but the version 2 isn't bad. Also,I feel that the version 2 has bettter color rendering and contrast. Is it worth $1,000.00 more than the version 1,probably not, still,I'm happy that I made the upgrade.

The one thing that sort of surprised me was the accuracy of the AF. Every single shot was spot on from what I could tell.

I tested mine with FoCal software.
At 24mm it scored 99.7% (percentage of time it nails focus)
At 70mm it scored 98.9%
I tested with a 5D3, may be it does AF better than some, but I can also tell you the lens does play a big part, the 50 1.8 showed much poorer reliability on the same camera.
