I always wanted to see the shuttle on the 747, but it was bittersweet knowing the shuttle program is ended. We pulled over in Boron, CA hoping for a good show. I lent my 400mm to my sister, so I had my 200mm. Luckily, it came pretty close!

Very nice.
For other who plan to catch Her tomorrow in LA, My advise is to use wider lens and include the land mark as she has her last moments on the air.

I have some shots with the desert and mountains in the photo, but the shuttle is harder to see. It was just guessing where to wait for the arrival, so I am glad I got any photo's of it at all! Thanks for the advice, I wish I could see it go over LA too, but I cannot.
