Love esp the first, I would only crop that line (pole) on the right side....or clone it away...well done.

I must admit, I did miss the pole. Thanks Sandra.

I bought this lens used recently, and I think the copy have isn't so great. i have a 500d/t1i, and everytime I let it focus, it always wants to focus on the left half of the image. it never autofocuses on the right, unless I choose a focus point. Here's what I mean.

If one side is sharper than the other, you have a decentered element. It, either, came that way from the factory or the previous owner dropped it/banged it REALLY hard...etc.

In either case, send it back.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

That's definitely a lens issue, never seen it so pronounced before. Maybe because you found the perfect subject to display it.

hehe perhaps. first i thought ok, its just normal cause the subject is always closer on the left, but then when it wasnt, it kept happening. I even took a wide angle shot full of people and you can gradually see it getting more and more blurry towards the right.

Got the Tamron 28-75 used yesterday. Could not deside between the L's, 24-70 or 24-105.
Saved me some money and I am pretty pleased with this optics:)

Just imported images to lightroom and exported. Pleased with sharpness and blur.

It was the first time I had used the lens beyond a few snapshots and overall I am very happy with this lens!
