Our last one of the summer was a biggy!

Thanks all!

Aperature was 14 for both with ISO 200.

took me all summer to get it right (for midnight storms, which is mostly what we get here).

I beg to differ on the horizon line. I think the lightning strikes make for an unusual shot, a beautiful one at that, and the perspective in the photos, including the horizon line, fits well with the apparent chaos of the lightning strike. I love #2, by the way.

Thanks for sharing your settings, I would have never guessed to use a 30 second exposure for lightning. I will have to attempt this!
