My brother is applying for a job there.

Its for Site B as an "Operate Technician".

The job spec is a little vague so i was wondering if you knew any more about it and whether you would recommend working there?

Hes pretty excited about it - just want to get as much info for him as poss for his CV/Cover Letter.

(Please feel fre to PM if you worry about colleagues seeing what you type!)

Whats his Background Rob?

They do those Psychometric tests first to whittle down the numbers. Test ones are available online.

Dun B is an AGR Advanced Gas Reactor

http://en.wikipedia.org …ess_Nuclear_Power_Station (external link)

it would be good to know roughly how they work.

If he succesfully gets an interview, i will see if i can get any "info" for you. :)

His background is in mechanics. Hes been a technician with Volskwagen Audi Group for the last six years and taken quite a lot of additional training courses and is a Lvl II "electrical specialist" as far as the VAG training goes. He has enough GCSE's too from what they request on the application.

Thanks for the wikipedia link - definitely good for him to get some background knowledge.

Fingers crossed he gets an interview then and i will be in touch!
