Canon confirm 1D C 4K DSLR is identical hardware to a 1D X

It seems the only difference between a 1DX and a 1DC is just the firmware. Magic Lantern guys might have a field day with that...

Ohhhh boy, yeah... ML cold have huge potential with the 1DX, very interested to see what the future holds for it.

Dang... Now I want a 1DX even more! Cept I wont be able to afford a 4K TV nor do we have media with enough storage capacity to deal with 4K footage for a while. But its fun to think about.

ML guys have yet to get past ANY model that has more than ONE processor, hence no hack for the 7D....I dont think the 1Dx is gonna be on the list either anytime soon ;)

I may be wrong..not a SW guy at all..

**EDIT!!** Never mind...apparently ML just cracked the 7D recently...figures as I no longer have it lol
