Volleyball "jube" shots

In response to a topic in another thread, I thought it would be fun and helpful to share jube shots and tips for getting them. I find that in order to get the best shot, I have to resist watching the play in order to be ready to get the shot. Often players have their own unique ways of celebrating and it can be fun to capture their signature move.

This was my favorite from last season. It was our Dig Pink (Breast Cancer Fundraiser) game against our biggest rival and we pulled out the win. This was after the final point. It could be cropped a hundred ways. How would you have cropped it?

Share your jube shots and how you set up for the moment.

It's rare that the action of the last few points will be your best action shot but the emotion of the last few points is very often intense. Choose to get a group shot or go for the player who is extremely expressive. Think of where that player will turn after a big or winning point.

Focus on the uvula. (kidding)

This is a fun thread. My freshman daughter warmed the bench of a team that went 35-0 and ended up winning the 2011 3A state championship. This is the final point.

I've only seen girls HS and college games. Do the boys celebrate after every point like the girls?

State Section Champions, now on the the State Semis. I love individual jube shots, but there is something very special about the whole team embrace as well.
