I have a Lee Foundation + 77mm WA adapter coming with the following filters:

Lee 0.6 Hard GND
Lee 0.9 Hard GND
Lee 0.9 Soft GND

Wanting to pick up a reverse GND, but don't know if I should go with 0.6 or 0.9 - what do you guys recommend/find more useful?

you can make a reverse GND from the filters you have.

Just do this (external link)

Lee does not have a reverse GND.

That's not quite a reverse GND...

Regardless, I find that 3 or 4 stops is the most useful density for a reverse GND. Sometimes, I even put a 2 stop and a 3 stop filter together to make a 5 stop reverse GND.

Sunrises and sunsets tend to have a huge dynamic range - you need strong filters.

So if choosing one, opt for the 0.9/3-stop. Got it!

I use an 0.9 hitech reverse:

I'm not sure if a 4 stop would have been better or not. Maybe it would.

^^^So I'm getting the feeling that typically "stronger" is better for reverse GNDs. Does sorta make sense now.

Are all the reverse GNDs soft? I don't see any hards. Planning on picking this guy up:

I don't think you can have a hard reverse. All reverse grads are an upside down soft gnd. It wouldn't make sense any other way.

Those HiTechs look awesome! great shots everyone!

I think of my RG as 'hard', and you have to be precise with placement. Here's an illustration: http://www.teamworkphoto.com …43cd881fb5206a20896ea7f13 (external link)
