I love the xsi. It will always be one of my favorite cameras. That said, I have been eyeing a used 5dii for quite a while and now the 6d is here. I must say despite all the tech snobbery and bashing going on here, I think that the 6d may be the reason i have been waiting for to jump ship. I think that for people into great images and not being cool with "pro" crap (likely most of us still pumpin the xsi) it could really be the right time to update the body.

Any other xsi owners thinking the same thing?

Everything is relative.

Let me tell you Nick, I have owned the Canon Xsi for 2 years. I recently updated the 5D MARK II. The FF blow your minds out. It's totally a different ball game. Plus the IQ is 100x better than Xsi. However after using the 5D Mark II for 1 month I notice that the Focusing system is VERY SLOW which costed the images to be "SOFT" and I did further research. Many people had the same problem with the 5D MARK II. ...Therefore I sold the MARK II... I'm looking forward for the 5D MARK III.

If your planning to get the 5D MARK III, you wont regret it!

I am planning on the 6d having a better af system and being $1700 or so in the same time period it took for the 5diii to drop $700:lol:

Yes but I'm looking for the 7D mostly because I'm not ready for stepping to FF and also my Tammy works on aps-c.

Pretty. We're a little behind you with the fall colors. Won't be long though.

Hello, old friend,

We may get some leaf change, but not like you guys!

Joe

We had a touch of frost early this morning. That starts the progression toward winter. But I don't envy you with your tropical storms and hurricanes. ;)

When our leaves turn, I'll post a snap or two from the old XSi. By the way, Joe, after a 20 hour bout with the surgeons early last month, Ellie can now wear girlie stuff. She's thrilled; no more diapers.
