So I assume all new Sigma lenses from here on out will include the new technology. Will old lenses get updated? I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love to optimize the focus on their Sigma 30&50mm

LoL Oddly enough, I had a dream about this lens last evening. The price was 790. Think Im close?

Also, as an aside, I was about to sell my 50 1.4 in preperation to purchase this but then, alas, I put it on the 5DII and its still great. I have a sharp at 1.4 copy with great focus and cant being myself to get rid of it.

Very nice Zeiss-esque design. Small turn off would be it's slightly bigger than Canon's 35 f1.4 (though that may or may not get even bigger than the Sigma when Canon launches the Mark II version)

It's not an upgrade to the 30mm, it's a FF 35mm f1.4 lens. It's at least $400 cheaper than the Sony/Canon/Nikon versions.
