I have been playing around with one for a few days (my mom got one and asked me to help set it up). She had an adapter that allowed full size SD cards to be plugged in. I was able to get Raw Droid (or something like that) that allows you to preview the RAW file and save a JPEG version. I was then able to get a basic photoshop app that allows basic cropping color corrections, sharpening/softening, and boards to be applied with a direct upload button.

I tried to plug in my sd card and thumb drive at the same time to this adapter however it would only read one at a time, but I did find another adapter on Amazon that says it will read multipule devices and allow you to transfer info from one to another. This is one of the reasons I was looking at this tablet, I wanted to be able to leave my big 17" laptop at home and just travel with tablet and external hard drive, and be able to transfer or copy images from the SD card onto the harddrive using the tablet as the middle device.

Whats everyones take on this tablet.

I had the 10" one and returned it. Bought an Asus transformer instead.

If that tablet is like most it will only work with a single card card reader. It will NOT allow you to have multiple devices connected.

I think I may order the hub and give it a shot on my moms, there are a couple reviews stating that it worked with two usb drives at the same time. I know the hub she has will only allow one device. For $12 its worth a shot. What are the main differences with the Galaxy vs the Transformer, I am only looking at the 7" version not the 10" (I want something small and sleek). The price difference is double.

I have one of these Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" tablets and I love it. Made a trip to Fry's and got an adapter that plugs in the port on the bottom that allows you to attach USB, Micro USB, SD and Micro-SD. I upload my shots to the tablet and store it in the 32gb micro-sd card I have installed. Folks love lookin at my shots on the clear display. At lunch I tether my phone to the tablet and poke around on the web a bit. I've even used it a few times as GPS while on the road. Waiting around at a doctor's office is no longer a drag. I whip out the tab, pop in some earbuds and watch a TV show or play a game. The latest update 4.0.4 makes it super freakin smooth. Lookin for a place locally that has a screen protector for sale that will also install it. I can't install those things worth crap. Uneven and bubbly. UGH!

Oh....and Samsung stated that this tab will be getting Jelly Bean within the next couple of months.

The key is using the right product such as Skinomi or ArmorSuit as some will lay down much easier then others. Moshi are the easiest to apply but they aren't made for Android tabs. Anything that comes with two or three protectors for the price of one is almost guaranteed to be difficult.

I got one in the local AT&T store which was $5 and near impossible to apply without bubbles. Got another with a bumper case from Ebay and it went on bubble free with ease. Unfortunately over time it shifted and when i tried to reapply it was trash so i bought an Otterbox Defender which has a built in screen cover. So far i've dropped my Galaxy Note dozens of times and the Defender has paid for itself many times over.

Thank you for this info, I think thats the same connector my mom got at Fry's my problem is that on some vacations (my last one to hawaii) I came home with close to 100gigs of data so being able to put onto my harddrive is a must. After reading more yesterday it looks like that wont be a problem as long as the HD is formated to FAT32, so gotta do a bit more research on that.

I have the 3G model and really like it. I'm planning on using DSLR Controller with it shortly - I'll update with some feedback.

Is that an app you can download? Wonder if it would work with a T3?

Yes, it's an app on the Play Store by a company called Chainfire. It's officially still a beta, and there's a list of compatible devices on their website. Some stuff definitely doesn't work. I don't know what a T3 is, so can't advise, sorry.

No worries I found the app site and the T3 is not listed :( o well not a deal breaker, I also read that it works on some models that are not listed.
