I notice an unusual amount of 5D MK III's for sale for it being such a new camera. Is it having issues?

People are speculating on rumors about a 3D, some might be moving to the 6D, etc....

There are no issues with the 5D3.

It's a lot of money. I imagine we might have some buyers remorse.

They all saw it only got an 81 on DXOmark so it's suddenly a terrible, terrible camera and they don't want to risk being seen with it.

Adorama had a crazy ebay sale a couple weeks ago and sold over 800 brand new 5DIIIs for $2749. I'm sure a lot of speculators bought them with the intent of reselling them.

i would suspect that people baught them prior to the 1Dx release and now that the 1Dx is out, some will step up.. its a phenominal camera, plus the 3D is coming so some might be dumping to get as much as they possibly can for a slightly used body.

If anyone is having buyers remorse and wants to donate one I'll take it :D

It's my dream camera at the moment.

I have not had any issues with my 5D Mark III. I am very happy with the way it performs. I think like others are saying, they either are going to the 1DX or other, wished they had not spent the money, or obtained cheaper and trying to make a buck.

Add 3% paypal ($82.50) plus like $40 to ship you probably make $50-$75 profit.
