I have narrowed down my search for a WA walkround lens to this and the 35 1.4

Any intricacies that might make a big difference

The 1.4/35 has superior bokeh, but I also love the way the 2/25 renders. The 2/25 is sharper and lighter and better corrected against aberrations. I feel the 1.4/35 has more personality and frequently produces images with that Zeiss 3d pop; an effect I love, but haven't gotten with the 2/25 yet. I really like both and have both, but if I could only have one it would be the 1.4/35, just because I love its personality and shooting it at f/1.4.

I struggled at first with the 35mm as a walkaround as I often wanted a wider field of view, but I think it was just a matter of getting accustomed to the 35mm focal length. Lately the 1.4/35 is my go-to walk-around. But, it is a heavy beast of a lens, so make sure you're OK with the weight.

Thanks pkilla. I should have indicated, but it is a seven exposure HDR (SNS-HDR). Fortunately the air was dead-still, so all the foliage stationary through all seven exposures. The individual exposures looked nice, but the EV range of the scene far surpassed the dynamic range of the 5D III's sensor.

Something a little fun: A spider suspended on it's web about a foot from the lens. Unfortunately its web was too fine to show up in the image, so the spider appears to be levitating. Or maybe its a spider inside your monitor...hehe:

Great images, but not enough of them! Anyone actively using the lens that has some images to post?
