Anyone bought a dslr on this deal? I am thinking about a 60D but may save up for a 7D. Any comments?

Had a 6D....
Then had a daughter....
Now have an SL2 and Mavic Pro.... Man life changes.
I would encourage you... To just go for it.

the DSLR deals are a lot less enticing because they're more or less always available via the Canon Loyalty Program. People have been using CLP for a while and so far the vast majority of those experiences have been positive.

I know for a fact that the 70-200 IS II will not be, everyone please stop checking that one! I will let everyone know when it comes back into stock, trust me.

(after I buy it)

When does this sale end?

From Canon site:

"Offer valid September 23, 2012 12:01 a.m. ET through September 29, 2012 11:59 p.m. ET, or while supplies last, whichever is earlier. Offer valid in U.S.A. only, and void where prohibited, taxed or restricted. Offer excludes Clearance Camcorders. Limit of ten of any one item per order. Dealers, distributors and other resellers are not eligible for this offer. Order will be shipped to a street address in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia only. Offer subject to Canon Online Store Terms of Sale."

Excerpt to note: "or while supplies last" ... this means the sale is over for most I think.

I'm happy with the 100 macro I bought. I was happy with the elph point-and-shoot until my daughter dropped it and broke it, two days after I received it. Oh well, now I have a $120 camera to use in the loyalty program someday.

I was hoping to score an 85L during the sale. Alas, it was not meant to be.
