First image posted here. Might have missed the point of the ND use, everyone elses seem to be much lighter than mine. I needed to shut the sun down to I could highlight the sunflower.

Thanks, folks.

Been ages since I posted in here... Anyway here is a long exposure that I took using my B+W 10 stopper whilst on holiday on Crete. Unfortunately the conditions were less than perfect...shooting into the sun and at 3pm, however given that I only had a couple of hours on the Island of Gramvousa I didn't have much choice... :-)

Is there any reason why you didn't shoot this at ISO 100 and set shutter speed at 1/60?

For some reason, My 7D has crappy relative IQ at 100 than at 200. It has been back to Canon twice, with the same answer: No defect found

The shutter speed was an oversight, to be candid.

I'm sorry to hear that. Great composition in that image!

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

do you use it much wide open for landscapes?

I only really do wide open landscapes if I'm shooting the stars. Otherwise I'm stopping down to f/8 or so normally.
