Hello all, season is finishing here and as I am leaving for Germany this week, this was to be my last shooting.

I had not much time this year to go out and shoot, but at every outings, I had the chance to photograph at least one really nice bug, which is all I ask.

Last Saturday was an amazing day as I found one of the most amazing flies I ever saw here in Quebec. I could of not asked for anything more as I am really fond of flies in general. They are my favourite subjects to shoot.

Anyhow, unfortunately, the fly kept grooming and the stacks are far from being perfect, but at least they are usuable for sharing.

My favourite one of the day, a stack of 16 shots, handheld, around 2.5:1, rotated and cropped, so probably more like 3:1 in the end.

the other one is OK as well, but the angle not as low, I like to shoot very low and have the face right in my face! But still, I am happy nevertheless

I've enjoyed seeing all your work, Martin. Great stuff. Of these I prefer the first full body shot, but they're all superb!

Until next season.

Terrific shots Martin. That's the prettiest looking Hover i've ever seen. The stacks look A1 to me.
