I absolutely love these... I work on LDRP as a nurse and lactation consultant. You captured the light beautifully. Now get these in a book and print it asap :)

Amazing! I would love to own that lens one day but I swore after my 24-70 I would never spend that much again for glass! lol ... but knowing me ... I will! Thanks, your shots are both timeless and perfection for family captures.

Exactly what I shoot when I shoot or aim to shoot for. Also, congrats on the baby! My wife is 38 weeks and ready to pop any moment so reading this thread and looking at your photos really was inspiring to me and a reminder that I need to get my butt in gear and get ready for the hospital stay.

What aperture did you shoot these in mostly? All natural light?

The only shot I used flash on is the close up and that was taken at f8. Most of the others are taken from 1.2 to 2.0

Congratulations! Absolutely gorgeous photos of your precious Aivan's arrival. She is beautiful and Rylin looks very excited to be a big sister! That 50L is fantastic (and you certainly know how to work it :))

Borrowed some studio lights from a friend. I've never used lights before. Kinda felt strange.
