Wow. Great shots. I like them all. I lived in MI for 2 years, and never got anywhere north of Houghton lake... ;-( I regret not taking the time while I was there.

#2 and #4 are great. Love the effect the slow shutter has on those scenes.

Thank you !! slow shutters are cool, but I did run into a problem with a ton of hot pixels with a few shots... but then again they were 145sec plus...

Great comp on this one: Lower Tahquamenon Falls

Mackinac Bridge is beautiful, too. The overcast sky actually worked really well in the image, blending with the water to give a consistent background that highlights the bridge. Who'd a thunk a lousy sky could make the image!?

Great shots! I lived in GR & Kazoo for 3 years...ventured north a few times, but never captured any worthwhile pix.

Yes...lots of iconic views, but you certinaly covered them very well. Visiting tahquamenon and the porkies in the heart of fall are on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing some wonderful shots of my home state...hope you enjoyed your stay!

Thanks, and yes I to was thinking that the sky was going to make the picture look bad... but I did get a good one with a bad sky..

Thank you, and I must say that it was a great visit.. people are very nice and friendly to out of town visitors. I was hoping for full fall colors, but I was a few weeks to early... next time, because there will be one...
