Its not about the battery. Its ergonomically more comfortable for a lot of people

Very true. I'm 6,4 and have good size hands. The 7d feels really good in my hands but then again a grip would as well.

It was easier to take off my FB page and post it. The first two pictures are from a Pop Warner game. The second from a local HS game. I tried to upload some pictures but they exceeded the "forums limit." Maybe there's an easy way to do it, I don't know.

great shots! #1 is super, you should try to lighten his face a bit though, love them all.

you have learned to embed or use the [IMG] tag to post your FB photos here, so if you want to post others then easiest way is to use a free photo hosting account like Flickr or Photobucket and then bulk upload many photos at once, then click on image after uploaded to get [IMG} tag code and paste in your post here. Still have to limit to 1024 pixels on longest side so it doesn't screw up the viewing of the page but no longer have to worry about file size in Kb or MB.
If you you to top post in each "photo sharing" section then you should see a "sticky" note that describes these methods and rules. Here is link:
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=51052
if you want to post thumbnail image to fit 1024 pixel dimension that links to bigger file elsewhere read about doing that and other tutorials here:
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=290249
look forward to more of your posts :)

Nice! Too bad Washington couldn't have given you guys a better game. #9 on your team is a monster! They are really struggling this year with only 1 win. Of course it didn't help to have their senior QB miss this season because of being diagnosed with cancer. Feel bad for the kid, but at least he has a good prognosis and should be able to beat it.

Good call, but not quite it. I always shoot manual WB and as you can tell, I was in daylight mode and the sun went behind clouds. That happened all game and I was too busy learning a new camera to remember to change WB. Maybe next time I'll try auto WB when the sun keeps going behind the clouds all game long.

These were shot with a 1Dmk3 instead of my usual 7D.

I shoot Auto WB all the time (in RAW). Then, it seems to give me more shots that don't need WB tweaks in Lightroom. It's easy to tweak them when needed, but it's even easier to not tweak them. LOL
