To be honest I thought it was a little on the dark side.

Making decent pics, I had to chuckle. Thanks, but I'm sure you can do very well also.
Mick, you're correct, didn't seem as dark on my screen until I uploaded the pic. Just added a slightly lighter version so now you can see the missing cowl and belly. Sunlight was a little harsh and had to tweak the exposure levels (and more) to get anything in the sky. Only using LR3 since I don't have the skills in CS5 yet.

Well done Jay, where was this at? Next time you see it, ask Chuck about the umbrellas and brooms, then duck and don't mention my name...

To be honest Harry, the second pic isn't much brighter than the first. There's plenty more detail in the shadows left to bring out, here's a very quick (and not too good) edit.

Thanks Mick. Looks like my photos are not transferring very well online. They're brighter on my computer screen before I download it. I worked it a bit more and added it to my previous post (so we don't repost this forever). It may be close to your edit already. Thanks for the critique. I'm always looking for ways to improve my PP skills.

Now I return the thread to it's regularly scheduled program. Sorry for all the chit-chat about one photo.

That's much better Harry and don't apologise for the chit chat; that's what this forum is for isn't it?
