(I say childhood but in reality I was playing one of the games last month )

How's that?
Would that be photorider?
I have heard from him and he said he was going through a rough patch...
PM on 20 September, saying that he had moved it on...

Nifty has safely arrived in Jasper! Pictures will be starting to appear very soon. It's cold and clear here in the mountains, with lots of wildlife and great photo ops! Nifty will be attending our closing golf tournament today.

Nifty arrived safely while I was away on a hunting trip in northern Alberta.

... I'm sure glad that Nifty had that "Fragile" sticker on the box.. if not for that, the box would have been destroyed! ;)

Stunning Country BigBull!!!

I do have some more pictures to process up (I have to admit to struggling with the 50mm focal length), but our winter wood needs chopping so took a few pictures with Nifty to keep it moving on...

llareggub, aren't those Fiskars splitting axes the best? I can't believe how well mine splits wood for such a light axe.

So, yesterday, we had our closing golf tournament after a very long frost delay. We were finally able to tee off at 1:30 PM. Tournament is a Texas scramble format, with two foursomes playing together per hole, which made for lots of laughs!

Nice looking pictures to both of you.
Nice looking golf course.
Do you guys walk around golf courses, or does everyone use those golf carts?
I've never seen so many carts in one place.
When I played, 50% of the enjoyment was a good walk in the fresh air.

akiwi, golf carts are optional at our course. This time of year, with heavy frost, and less daylight, they will typically have a shotgun start - where every group starts at a different hole at the same time. It's the only way to get the maximum amount of people on the course for the day. Most people take carts on these days so that they can get out to their designated starting point on time.

I guess that makes sense.. particularly on a large course.
Sorry if I sounded patronizing.

Hey Folks, I have a fair number of pictures to post up from Nifty but am drowning under organising a trip to Budapest for a Dozen friends from the UK this weekend to celebrate my wifes buffday. I am sure there will be plenty of shots to post up from our weekend away.

Euro Nifty will then be moved on to Danny in the UK on Tuesday (friends who are visiting will take it back and pop it in the post)... Hopefully then I will get the chance to post up some pictures :)
