Thanks Chaps, lets hope it all goes to plan the lighting should be easy really I think just got to get how I want and make sure it looks right in the resulting image. As to the profit bit I'll hawking my wares here once it's ready so I hope everyone will be putting their hands in their pockets ;)

Matt That is a corking shot well done.

What time are you doing this? Maybe I could get Cindy to help out with the models. She used to work for a model agency and is very good with the posing side of things.

Thanks for the offer Jon it's at a place called Kavernel Media in Dover, which has a nice little studio/rehearsal room which can be used for photography/video work and bands to practice in with attached recording studio, but I have a local photographer friend as well as a MUA helping and any more people there will have more " staff " than models. I may ask for some help choosing the final images though and uninvolved eyes may like shots I had discarded.

Bit quite in here today, I'm feeling a bit nervous as I have the first shoot for the calendar tomorrow. I have 4-5 girls turning up and I've got hold of a studio to shoot in this is my first time in a proper studio and I'll be using their constant lighting so it'll be a bit of learning curve.

Hope it went well and looking forward to the results

Nice price

Oh, and some good news (external link) from the home country. If you don't know what that's about, start here (external link). This could've had tragic consequences for pancake eaters the world over

And yes, this is the sort of crime we have to deal with in Canada

Why don't we get crime like that over her.

This story (external link) on the page got my attention

Very nice is that an ap you use or just the normal camera?

...

see you made the Cutty Sark is it worth a visit?

...

That's the normal camera and its so simple to use, no more stitching in Photoshop :)

The Cutty Sark is great inside and up on deck, much better than it was before, but I think they have definitely ruined the outside view. Well worth £12 though, the café is a nice place to sit, right under the keel.

Hey folks, remember me ;) sorry I've been AWOL for such a while, we've had traumas with Lola. On holiday in Norfolk she got peritonitis - managed to get her home, and to a specialist and she had a huge op, part of her intestines removed - and a tumour unfortunately - albeit they think they got it all out, and it's a slow growing type of cancer. That was just over 2 wks ago now and she's improving daily. Life kind of just came to a standstill really :(

I hope you're all ok and taking lots of fab photos. I've not really processed my holiday pics yet - had an amazing shoot with some horses on the beach on the first day,I've only had a quick whizz through them but here's 3.

I think it was the most genuinely joyous shoot I've ever done, everyone there had such a brilliant time, it's something none of us will ever forget.

I shall try and be back on POTN now :D have we got any meets planned yet?

+1 with Adrian ~ hope Lola is well on the mend following such trauma. As for the horses on the beach, superb though I would. Not want be the one cleaning the tack ;)

Some lovely shots, really like the lighting........might pop over with a very rusty Ford Escort:(

Anything and everything is welcome, pretty sure there'd be some 'rustier' (is that a word?!) cars in their collection somewhere.

Really sorry to hear the news Penel, glad she is on the mend though. Love the horse shots, cracking stuff and looks like you all had great fun :)
