Hey David I was just wondering how you're doing. Good to know you have a huge project. How's your 5D? Was it fix?

I came here because of your PM, I thought I'd give my family some news. My 5DmkII is still broken, didn't send it in yet to be fix. Meanwhile, I bought a 5DmkIII. Yup, she is that awesome. I think I'll sell my 60D, looks like I don't like it anymore. Same goes for my 5DmkII.

Well back from shoot here a two super quick edits. If the second one is to much let me know and I'll take it down. Love to hear any feedback, I've gone for a bit of grain in the second to see how it looked. I'm not sure lol

I'll put lots more up in the week but they will have to be links as most are figure nude

i like both but the 2nd one stands out. I like the PP and the level of grayness.

Not much of a portrait guy, but was out with a friend yesterday looking for wildlife and decided to play with light blending and flash since I had a willing subject. This is probably the first real go at getting the shadow from the tree and the light from behind balanced. Yes, I know she's not posed right and doesn't have make up on, but that's not was on my mind right then. Other than that any feed back would be helpful.

Brothers I have this craving again with the 24-105L, i think i have gear cancer :D.

It's because I unexpectedly picked up a FF sooner than planned and the only gear that I think worth staying in my lineup is the 85mm. I will give up the 28 and the pancake for this.

What do you think of the 24-105 guys. Been scrolling over the lens thread and the images are mind blowing especially in the color rendition and sharpness department. The IS also compensate the F4 aperture + i can also raise the ISO a bit on the 5D just in case.

If i want to blur the background with it, i can just control it using subject camera background distance or by zooming all the way. What do you think?

You know it is the 24-70L that you want... for the 2.8... I've heard that the Tamron version is pretty good too (almost half the price) and it is VC (Tamronese for IS)...

Yeah, I had a friend like that. We called it having gadget-itis. I admit I've been spying on the classifieds section, too. But I realized I've been so busy the last few weekends, any additional gear would just collect dust with the camera I still am learning how to use!

I finally had a down day this weekend and felt like taking my languishing 60D with me. I spotted this little fellow in the display case at the Korean bakery:

T'sup 60D people, family.

Thought I'd give some news. I'm super busy with a huge project, I call it Halloween Fest.

I started a new thread about it, have a look, you won't be disappointed. It's awesome.

Halloween Fest - A Photodr presentation

Let me know what you think. I'm spending so much time on that, I think it'll be worth it.

David.

Really cool stuff David!

Yah but I like the versatility of the 24-105 range wise.
