I loved the whole set. My favorites are 2,5 and 8. On photo number 1, i find leafs to be somewhat distracting and on photo number 2 (which is a wonderful photo), i would perhaps remove / clone out that object above groom's head.
All in all, excellent work. I, too, prefer candid / photo journalistic style myself over "look straight in the lens" philosophy :)
