What a gorgeous morning it was this morning, so much, that I had to pull over and take some photos.

Hope you like :)

I like the second one, it would be even better if you could get rid of the flare on the tree and the pale spot at the very bottom.

The ground and trees are a little dull in the first one due to the lack of direct sunlight. If you could bring back some of the colour so it was similar to the second photo then it could look better. Also, clone out the OOF grass on the right! The mist looks really good though!

Good points shep, will take a look this evening :) Actually, I should be able to get to the same spot, but on the opposite side of the road for the sun to set so might grab some of those on the way home :)

#1 is the best IMO. Love the depth created by the fog. Nice colors. I would clone out that white thing on the right.
#2 is too bright where the sun is and the flare is distracting.
#3 doesn't do much for me. Rule of thirds (vertical and horizontal) should be used here
#4 seems tilted to me. Sun is in the center. Not sure about the in focus blade of grass.

#1 is really mesmerizing. The hawk gives it a wildlife aspect that the white buildings detract from. -rick

Would an ND filter help out with the sky - I wonder. Nice scene and I'm sure you will have fun exploring the possibilities.

I hope CC is appreciated :)

1 and 2 looks good, but as Shep adviced, get rid of the flare on 2 and it will be really nice. Also you could get rid of the rectangular sign and other small tidbits(roof) to make it cleaner.

3 sadly does nothing for me. The composition with a sun smack in the middle make the image appear less interesting than the first two. I would also try to get something in the foreground to make a more interesting shot.

4 Also does little for me(sorry!). I would like to see this one done much closer to the straw. As it is now it's "just a straw". If you did it with a macro lens or something that would let you get really close it might bring out some interesting details that would make the image more interesting. Looks like there is a spiderweb or something, but its hard to tell when the straw is so small in the frame.

Thanks all, it was nice taking the pictures, weather was perfect. Just a pity I was on my way to work and only could spend a couple of pictures snapping them (handheld).

For the first time in my life, Im looking forward to cold winter mornings to get some more pics :)
