I like how in the setup picture, you have the live view on and you can just see how the composition makes the photo so good.

Haha thanks! I don't know what I would do without live view. Such a useful feature to have! :D

In the Firehole river @ Yellowstone NP. A friend took the picture of me in the river setting up the shot. Unfortunately I just missed the most intense reds of the sunset watching grand geyser.

Images captured such as this sets a bar I'll continue strive for. Beautiful image, and I think the "broodiness" of the clouds lends itself very nicely to the overall tone of the image. That's the wonderful thing about art, photography and anything aesthetic - we each take our own level of visual enjoyment from it. Great image - thanks for sharing.

Thanks, much appreciated. Although I do quite like the shot, and it's the best I think I got that week from that spot, I'll likely be back in that river again on my next trip. Hopefully with snow!
