Adrian - we went in November - it was great- not as expensive as Dec (Christmas shopping time!) nice and crisp and cold - but not freezing!

My birthday in November:D

And to go off Animal topic breifly, heres a few piccies from my recent New York Trip. The 5D had a sigma 85mm F1.4 on 99% of the time (and what a lens it is!!!), all the rest are with an Olympus OMD which is dare I say the best travel and walkabout camera I`ve ever used.

A view from the Hotel room, holding the camera outside the small opening in the window was a bit risky, but has to be done.

Adrian, love 1 and 3 in particular. And if it's your birthday in Nov then that sounds like the start of a plan.
Agree with Lee the kite with the 2nd one in the background is great.
Sam - which of those shots were taken with the Olympus - I keep coming back to look at them all, they really are fab.

Quick warning chaps. Sent this out an hour ago at work - seems to be spreading quickly.

"It seems that there is a virus circulating on Skype right now. This usually presents itself as a message from one of your contacts saying “lol is this your profile pic?". The link will take you to a download of a zipped file. Do not download or unpack this file."

If anyone is affected by this, let me know and I will let you know the fix.

That would be awesome! Sam's photos are exactly the ones that I would love to take in the big apple. Very iconic. :)

Some fabulous shots Adrian.

Re the shot above with the geese flying that has the bluey hue, when I went to Richmond a couple of years ago I had this hue on some of mine and I didnt like it but couldnt adjust it suitably. Is this something that would be very difficult to adjust or do you just have to accept thats the lighting/colouring of the moment?
