Oh, I agree. That decision will made by the client as each situation will be different. My concern for her is the degredation of the tat as she ages. There will be demand for older models due to the boomers aging and the tats (tat IQ loss) could eventually cause a problem for her. High quality temporary tats would solve the problem in a perfect world I think.

Apart from that, she is a very pretty woman with or without glasses.

With glasses is fine, but the frame cutting through the iris (especially the pupil) throws it off for me. Even if it's not for everyone, I like the tat, both the design and location.

A few shots were just for getting the tattoo.

Hadn't looked at it the way you put it about the frame, but it does cut-through the center of the eye when the shot is taken at that angle.

This is very interesting. I suppose (after reading all comments) that the answer lies in who you are shooting for and what they want out of the photograph. As for myself, I have worn glasses almost my whole life. If a photographer asks me to take my glasses off, I will refuse, but it hasn't always been that way (my refusal, I mean) and I have never liked the photos taken without my glasses, with the exception of a time when I wore contacts. More to the point here, it depends on what you are aiming at, and that would include the tatoo, I think.....

What's her style?

Reason I ask, is because I'm pretty sure the photo backgrounds are not close to her style. In other words, had I picked a location based on what she's into, we would have been somewhere else.

So what about this woman herself, seems to denote what her style is?

Her hair color and eyeliner (make-up) seem to demand the glasses, they compliment her face (and the photographs) very well. The photos without the glasses seem to be missing something, in fact, even before I saw the photos with her glasses, I was thinking that she would look better with some sort of eyewear.

I just noticed something (after viewing the photos again), you photograph her differently in every shot wear she is wearing them, it seems like you are using warmer lighting when she is wearing them as opposed to the cooler WB (and angles) when she going face-naked.

I really like the glasses on her. In the first set the white balance is making her skin quite yellow which may be part of the issue. And the frames do cut her eyes. She's a pretty lady either way.

I prefer the glasses only because the eye liner kills it for me. The photography is very nice on all of these. I don't mind the tats either, but agree that it may at some point become a detriment.

The glasses gives her another look. Without the glasses she's just another pretty face, with the glasses she looks edgy, and hip. -rick
