Just wondering if there are any difference between the USA, UK or Australian Canon 1d's besides the charger?

I'm from Australia and there isn't a lot of 2nd hand 1d's but noticed there are few in the US and UK.

The charger that came with my Australian 1D Mk III is 100-240V universal and has the standard small two-conductor socket for a detachable figure-8 power mains lead. You probably have some spares from dead appliances, or can buy one in Bunnings or the like.

I'm pretty sure *ALL* Canon chargers (hell, most chargers for consumer/portable electronics in general) are 110-240V compatible, you just have to get the proper cord/plug adapter.
