Bright and Beautiful Autumn

I took this photo at twilight last night and I love the colors. This comes close to showing what I saw with my own eyes. I've never seen this much blue during dusk before. I used a CPL filter but nothing else.

Canon 60D since Dec. 2011, Canon 28-135mm lens, Canon 70-300mm USM lens and Nifty Fifty 50mm 1.8 lens. Just got in a new lens: Tamron 18-270mm ; )

It's a beautiful shot but I wonder if you were standing while taking the shot?

I think if you were closer to the ground you might have captured the full reflection of the trees in the water. I don't like the curvature of the distant ground. If you were closer to the ground this might not be so obvious. I would also try to lose a little of the sky by bringing in more foreground.
