Torrid is an odd way to describe colour balancing:

tor-rid (tôr'id, tor'-) adj.
1. subject to parching or burning heat, esp.
of the sun, as a geographical area.
2. oppressively hot, parching, or burning,
as climate, weather, or air.
3. ardent; passionate: a torrid love story.

You did a nice job with the colours and exposure. It must have been a very colourful wedding. Often it helps to shoot a white balance reference under each lighting situation, even after the fact if possible and then using those values when processing the raw files. If there are fluorescent lights, then shutter speeds need to be low enough to avoid a partial waveform.

Did they do Indian food, Ukrainian food, some of both, something else entirely or a fusion of the two? Masala perogies? :)

Saw the full set on your blog - brilliant work. Loved the intimate outdoor shots in particular.

thanks all!!!!!!

@macroimage....torrid seemed to be appropriate at the time! lol. No masala perogies...just some masala vodka! lol. and plenty of it!

it was a colourful wedding...but its just hard to get the wb right...especially, when you have the hotel lights / uplights / dj lights to get the skin right...everyone looked so pink...but hey ho i dont think the skintones need to be perfect...as the couple chose to have a purple theme, its bound to reflect off people etc...

but thanks for all the great comments!!!!

Nice set !!! I love the color, the balance of the moods, overall very powerful imagery.
