I really like this shot with the harsh light and dark sky, and the silhouette of the tractor beach sweeper thing that was out there sweeping the beach.

What do you guys think about it, though? Am I crazy or do I have a keeper? Any suggestions?

No beach is visible, and it looks like the tractor is in the water. Is that someone in the surf, in the lower left corner? Is that a water spout in the center of the image, or godzilla coming to shore? -rick

I am not sure what's in the water, and the thing in the center of the image, I believe, was some sort of weather formation, or just rain. Since it isn't understandable maybe I should clone that out.

So is the consensus that the lack of beach detracts from the image?

I actually had zoomed in to 85mm to frame the tractor against the water as a background, I thought it was cool. Now I am thinking I should have got a few different exposures to compare.

Your sensor is really dirty, that "thing" is a hair or something on the sensor. Also see spots in the sky. The subject is really dark, and cropped oddly. I would have taken the beach and water and sky, forgetting about the sweeper.

Thanks Flo for your comment. I will check the sensor, but I haven't seen any other images with that in the middle even from the same day. Also I had a GND filter on for the sky, and it definitely needs a good clean. I think that may account for the spots in the sky. I've cleaned the mirror, but never the sensor... So that should be fun :)
