Drive it! :)

Nice catch and composition. :) Were you in a car behind it, or stationed at the side of the road at the curve?
Edit; Looking at the lower edge of the image I see you were in a car.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it. :cool:

Couldnt resist...two more from the Dalton.

First is another of the endless views along the Dalton....headed down from Atigun Pass to the North Slope. The arctic ocean is about 100 miles dead ahead....thats the Alaska Pipeline on the right.

Second was sobering....range on the truck is about 260 miles!!! I was about 400 miles NORTH of the arctic circle at this point.

Great adventure, beautiful shots!
If you get a break down up there the towing would cost a fortune:)
I busted my radiator in July this year, Montana on hwy 3/87 , similar gravel road just 4-5 miles of construction zone ; the front of my rad was protected with steel net, but somehow a piece of gravel bouced inside from my tires ;

There have been some great posts in this thread.
I am not sure that rates with some of the previous posts, but I'll play anyway

Thank you! I spent a good two days just on that road. There are so many photo ops and they all look very different between morning/evening.
