+1 on thinking it was a model.

I know it's not really what this thread's intended for and I hope you don't take offence to this, but I really don't like the resulting shot. I'm guessing it's a straight out of camera shot because there's lots that could've been fixed in PP, and it seems like a lot of effort to get such an awesome car into the studio and then not fix those problems.

The "studio" was really a corner of the shop, a roll of seamless paper and some tile board. The goal was not studio quality shots. Photos were a very distant second objective for the shoot, rather, the video was what we wanted, and even within that we didnt want it perfect.

Didn't notice the car parts in the background, thought you just had a massive studio. Also missed the link to the video, that came out pretty well. Funny thing I did notice, the ECS logo looks like EOS.

Should have had more distance from the car to the backdrop. Both for the video and the photo.

Before you make any purchases you may want to contact the TriggerTrap team, they're all nice and very helpful guys who have helped me out and even done me a favour in the past.

I placed an order from Amazon tonight for the Mobile Dongle and cable, plus downloaded the app to my phone. The order from Amazon should be here this weekend.

Thank you for your help!

We didn't have the room. We had to work with what we had.

Would I have liked to have a much larger studio, fully seamless background and floor, and a couple more Profoto Airs in Octobanks? Hell yes I would've. None of that was available to us on the date we had to shoot.

I would like to get the car into a real studio at some point.

High Speed Flash Sync. HSS allows you to use shutter speed past your normal camera flash sync, which in turn let's you cut your ambient light dramatically

Thanks - used successfully.

I'm looking for harsh criticism of my photos - tell me how to improve, I will be grateful.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked - Photographers shoot to thrill, not to kill

Messing with smoke. Single light with barn-doors, incense, black background for all. Some gels.
