Hi everyone,
Do I need a slim filter with this lens? Or would a standard one do fine?

I think you might get a little vignetting with a reg filter

You don't need a slim filter. I used standard CPL and ND filters with this lens and never ran into issues, unless I was stacking them.

It probably helps that it's a brand new car. Too bad I was sitting in the passenger seat. Haha

DiCAPac WPS10

i grabbed it off amazon this past july, but right now it's a tiny bit cheaper on b+h.

i think it's a fantastic value!

After seeing some of the great images here. I was ready to pull the trigger a few weeks ago. But then I discovered that the item I wanted to get was version 1. The version 2 is much higher price ($170 CDN difference).

I would risked assuming most of the images that I just looked at are taken with the original v1. And as I mentioned they were great.

So now the real question is this. Is the newer version worth the price difference?
