Just got this lens for my birthday, excited to try it out. Been wanting something wider than my 17-55 for some small indoor room stuff and some landscapes maybe. Loving what I'm seeing here out of it so far

Would be interested to see how you get on with it, I bought mine to compliment my 17-55 too and so far I just cant get on with it. Think Ive been spoilt by the sharpness of the 17-55

I have both too, and, with my style of shooting, the 17-55 remains my go to lens, providing enough 'width' most of the time. I did visit London recently and did get more use out of my 11-16 during my 2 days (to play) there than I have (probably) in the last 6 months. Though, again, most of my shots that I was really pleased with came from the 17-55. One notable exception below, even though I need to go back an reprocess this.. the halos are driving me nuts:

 so lets play a game everyone:

Imagine your at a party, and you say to your buddies "Guys! Come check out my wifes jugs!" You all stand and collectively stare at half exposed breasts.

Now paint a picture in your mind of what that scene would look like.

I was thinking of joining anyway and have read every post in this thread, but a few of Mr. Ride5000's pictures kinda shocked me. Not in a "your a pig" way, but in a "your wife is ok with you doing that....in front of people?" kind of way. My wife would flip her lid if I took a picture of her like that....and then posted in on the internet .
