I really love my 70-200 2.8L but I think I'm more impressed with the 300mm 2.8L.

70-200mm f/4L IS

It's a wonderful lens for so many uses. The IQ is fantastic and I like the weight because I can carry the f/4L IS lens + an extra 1.6x camera at the weight of a 70-200mm f/2.8L (series) lens alone...

Any "L" lens. My favorite 70-200 II, and 85L II for portrait.

Can't decide, 70-200 MK II or 300 MK II. Both of them excel at what they do.......so does the 16-35 MK II........and the 28-300........I can't pick......I love them all. I don't own a 14 MK II (yet) but that's high on my list too.

So many L lenses are specialized. The birder lenses aren't going to get as much use as something in the lower ranges. My most used L is the 70-200 f2.8 L II IS, but both the 85mm II and the 135mm are right there with it in usage.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.
