For those who care for a story, I'm going to be moving in the next couple months and have known for awhile I have too much stuff. So I decided to donate a bunch of old clothes and shoes and sell various electronics and snowboard gear. Setup my tripod, couple video lights to make it easy and mounted my 5D MK II with 24-70L on my tripod. Couple items in and everything is going as it should, then all of a sudden my 5D falls off the tripod slamming hard onto the hardwood floor below. It sounded like I dropped a 30lb dumbbell onto the floor. My heart dropped from my chest and stopped beating. I looked down and went to grab the camera figuring the lens had broken off the body, and interestingly enough it was still locked on and mounted on the 5D. First thought I had as I picked it up was "Damn Canon builds some tough ****! That was a 5 foot fall with The Brick on it! Awesome!" But right after I finished saying "Awesome!" to myself, I noticed this...

It still had power, still focused but that's as far as I went with seeing what it could do. I detached the lens, turned off the 5D and pulled the memory card and battery. It doesn't look to have any visible internal damage that I can see, but with my luck I'm sure I messed something up internally. Now for the 24-70L, it looked and appeared to have no physical damage. Glass looked fine, nothing broke off or sounded loose inside. It did however have one loose screw on the metal mount that locks it onto the camera body. Screwed that back in and mounted it on my 1D MK III and it still focused away. However, after taking a few photos with it, I think the AF could be off. At most FL's it focused like before, but I did notice at FL 24mm or close to it, it had a hard time focusing or wouldn't.
So I ask, how !@#&%$ am I? I have a CPS Gold membership so Ill atleast save 30% on repairs there, but going off what I've wrote and you can see in the photo, any idea what its going to set me back in repairs? This week has not treated me too well and this event last night really didn't help.
