I am very new to this so dont take anything I say as golden.
On the upside I like the pose and her expression with the good focus point.

On the critique, I quite like what you have tried with the B&W but I do not feel there is enough of a contrast between her face and background. Maybe I am wrong but it looks like it blends a bit too much for me and i do not know if you have cropped it, but I think having the side of her arm in on the left would help?

To me it looks too contrasty, and has a harsh effect on the model's skin/face. Overall image looks very hard. This may have been what you were looking for, sort of an urban look?

I like it. Good connection with the camera. It is contrasty but it works for me.

thanks for the comments! No it wasn't cropped , I actually 'lost ' the right arm on the image she had a nice expression, but it doesn't disturb me !

and the contrast shadows on her face I actually like to, for me it gives more definition!
