Got real lucky and a first!

I have never knowingly seen a Cedar Waxwing let alone photograph one. While walking the dog this morn, came upon a group feeding in a crabapple tree. Hurried the pup home, grabbed the camera and returned. Good fortune continued-clear day w/ the sun behind me while on the public sidewalk(no trespassing). Biggest problem, as you can see, was getting a clear shot thru the "habitat"", but glad it was there. Completes the shots, I think. Makes me think of Diamond Lil.

Congrats on a great first, Rog, these are terrific. Nice blue sky to boot, and such vibrant colours. And you're right , Lillian would have loved them too.
