I think I'm going to save up for some glass. I have the 40mm pancake right now. Going to save up for a 24-105mm L lens. That a good every day L lens? I think you can pick em up for around 700 on ebay.

Gear (Hopefully to expand in the future): Canon T4i | 40mm pancake lens

You should visit CYN's flickr page. Some very nice landscape shots!

Thanks!

And they're all with the T4i

With better lens than the kit, of course.

It would be great for a full frame body, but you'll probably want something wider for a crop body like the T4i. If you have to have an 'L', maybe the 17-40?

I've seen some nice shots with the Tamron 17-55/2.8, and it might be worth checking out the Sigma 17-50/2.8 also... the Canon 17-55 /2.8 is a nice lens, but pricey.

Best,
Steve

The EF-S 17-55/2.8 is awesome. Yes, pricey, but worth it. I think I like it better than the 24-70L, but had to ditch it when I went FF.

btw these are compressed threw facebook so they don't look any where as good as the original... mainly extra grain and color artifact issues...

Nice shots! as I really like them. However, can you downsize the last 4 to 1024*768? They are a bit large for the forum.

Thanks,

David

Amazing shots! I really like them. Although I can't really appreciate the last images very well because they're larger than my laptop screen

I'm hoping someone can help me this problem. I have a T4i. I've recently gotten into using vintage MF lenses and was trying to use the adapters with AF confirm chips. None have worked and I've tested on my T3 as well and they work. ANyone else use these types of adapters on the T4i?

Wow I really like your style and your photos are great. I especially like the two B&W ones, I feel like the're so many possible stories to be told just through the photograph.

Nora
