It might not be any harder... your standards might just be higher now since they go up with time in this trade. :)

Good set Jay. The camera loves this girl. You did a great job of posing her. The background on 4 is very good. The background on 5 is a little too light for my taste as her hair blends in with it. If she were my daughter I would be very pleased with these.

What I like about this pic is the bacikground. Wow, the detail and lighting holds my eye. What a classy looking old gym.
I agree with another poster who said her eyes are too dark. Also she looks angry. Maybe that is her "tough BB player look", but seems put on.

Hey gang. I sold a 16x20 of this print (obviously the client likes it) and then one of my photog friends mentioned he thought it looks kinda dark for a senior picture. Can I get a smidge of feedback on it? I will gladly reprint it since I havent delivered it and since she was my rep if ya'll think it could use a boost.

You had editing images OK, so I took the liberty of offering just one option. (feel free to hate it) =)

No hating. I like it! Perhaps the friend is right.:lol: Thanks! Perhaps I need to hop on the "slightly overexpose" bus.

Shane,

On my calibrated monitor I think your image looks just fine.

Thank you sir. I do think the exposure is correct but like WB, that doesnt always mean its the best. Maybe Ill print both and keep the one they dont want for my portfolio/sales example.
