I just took some photos a while ago, but mine is not as good as what I am following....

I did do a little sharpening on this one. How do you people feel I did on this? Thank you

So I did another moon shot tonight. I'm quite satisfied with this than the previous one, but I'd love to have a longer lens to get the details of the moon better.

^great detail :)

I took the obligatory shoot the moon shot when I first got a long lens. I don't have a long lens anymore, I might give it another go with the 70-200 and TC:

It was cloudy so I could not get the "moon shot" I wanted to get, so I decided on a Halloween theme, and went to an abandoned farm. I set up and the clouds were moving in front of the moon just like an old horror movie! A coyote started howling about mid shoot, close enough to make me a tad nervous...it was pretty cool though, plus my truck was only about 50m away.:)

It was a great night despite no stars and I was out to about 02:30!

I finally managed a decent shot. Tair 300mm/4 M42 lens @f5.6-8 mounted on the XTi handheld with the Photosniper riffle. Cropped heavily and increased contrast in Lr3.

Ah, I was thinking that must have been one looooong lens. How did you get F10 out of an F4 lens with stacked 2x TCs? Doesn't the aperture double and then double again?
