Hi,
sharing couple of pictures of my last year trip to Nanaga Parbat Base Camp, Fairy Meadows. pictures are from Sony Cyber Shot DSC-T5, 5MP.

Nanga Parbat ( Killer Mountain ) at elevation of 8126 meters is ranked number 9th highest peak in the world and one of only 14 peaks over 8000 meters.

I know Nanga Parbat means naked mountain in Hindi.... Does it have the same meaning in Urdu as well?

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

broadly hindi and urdu is same, i used word broadly here as there are lines in between. the typical hindi or shall is say sansikrat is native language of subcontinent or regions today we know as India.

and yes in urdu its translated as same.

Raikot Bridge on Karakoram Highway is at altitude of 1200 meters, this is the point where you get off your luxury transport and you take a jeep.

Fairy Meadows is at altitude of 3300 meters.

last two snaps are en route Beyal camp at altitude of 3450 meters
