Here's a street shot from Cambodia. The farm lands are very quiet compared to Phnom Penh, which is always crowded and busy.

I was there for 2.5 weeks. I also visited Thailand and Vietnam, it was a great trip. The places I visited were much more "rural" than I expected - some only had electricity for less than a year and many people didn't have reliable running water. It was more like "crawling" water...and didn't work most of the time.

This was one of many vendors selling a variety of snails (?) and other animals. I didn't buy any, but I wonder how long it takes her to go through that stock.

This guy was cleaning the sidewalk in front of his shop. Someone was spraying water from a hose (you can see it on the right) and he was sweeping the dirt away. Even though it was still the rainy season when I went, it was still very dusty from the hot sun during the day.
